About Me
| I completed my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at MIT as a researcher in the Aerospace Controls Laboratory. My focus was in autonomous mapping, planning, and control using vision-based algorithms on quadrotors in unknown, indoor environments. |
I have a passion for cycling and raced downhill, cross-country, dual-slalom, road, and criterium on the Cal Cycling team for three years. I also enjoy rock climbing, basketball, football, soccer, running, cooking (especially desserts), science, philosophy, and traveling. I've traveled to Peru and Malawi on self-organized, semi-philanthropic trips with friends, plus several countries around the world with my parents. The Malawi trip has resulted in our formation of Minds and Hearts in Motion, a non-profit organization focused on helping out Beehive School in Mzuzu, Malawi - more info on Beehive at beehiveschool.com.
